大同作為古代邊陲重鎮,是中原文化和北方少數民族文化的匯集地和融合帶,形成了特有的風土民俗和地域文化,保留了地方戲曲、傳統手工藝、傳統美食等豐富多彩的非遺文化。大同有非物質文化遺產名錄項目300多項,其中國家級非物質文化遺產8項,其中包括雁北耍孩兒、靈丘羅羅腔、陽高恒山道樂、陽高晉北鼓吹、廣靈剪紙、左云楞嚴寺廟音樂、北路梆子、大同銅器制作技藝,其中廣靈剪紙被聯合國教科文組織列入世界非物質文化遺產。富有濃郁地方特色的大同地方戲曲堪稱民間藝術瑰寶,現在仍然活躍在戲曲舞臺上的劇種主要有雁北耍孩兒、靈丘羅羅腔、陽高二人臺、北路梆子等。大同諸多傳統手工藝也被列入“非遺”名錄,最為知名的有廣靈剪紙、大同銅器、康氏娟人、大同煤雕、大同磚雕、大同結藝、廣靈柳編等。大同傳統的春節民俗豐富多彩,舞龍燈、舞獅子、跑旱船、高蹺、撓閣等都是大同民間重要的傳統文化活動。
As a frontier city of military importance in ancient times, Datong was located on the front line between the Han Chinese and the northern nomadic nationalities, and therefore developed a folk art and culture with unique characteristics and preserved various kinds of intangible cultural heritage such as local opera, craftsmanship and traditional food etc. There are more than 300 representative projects of Chinese intangible cultural heritage preserved in Datong, among which, there are 8 representative projects which were listed in the national intangible heritage, namely Yanbei Shuahai'er Opera, Lingqiu Rolls-cavity, Yanggao Taoist Music, Yanggao Suona Horn Art (a woodwind instrument), Guangling Paper-cutting, Zuoyun Buddhist Music, the North Wooden Clappers (a local opera of north Shanxi province), and Tianyichang Copper Craftsmanship. Guangling Paper-cutting was listed in the World Intangible Cultura Heritage by UNESCO. Datong local opera with unique local characteristics is still popular among the people of the city and performed on the stage to this day; these include Yanbei Shuahai'er Opera, Lingqiu Rolls-cavity, Yanggao Song and Dance Duet and the North Wooden Clappers etc. A big number of local craftsmanship were also listed in intangible heritage, among which there are Guangling paper cutting, Datong copperware, Family Kang's silk figures, Datong coal gangue carving, Datong brick carving, Datong Knot Art, Guangling Willow Weaving etc. The traditional Chinese New Year folk festival in Datong is very rich and colorful. The most popular events being the dragon lantern dance, lion dances, the running land boat dance, stilt walking and naoge (a kind of folk dance) etc.
大同耍孩兒
大同耍孩兒起源于金元時代的北雜劇,在清乾隆年間形成劇種,迄今已有二百五十多年的歷史。兩個多世紀以來,它在雁門關外的朔州、大同和內蒙古自治區部分地區人民中廣為流傳。
Datong Shuahai’er
Datong Shuahai’er was originally a north zaju, poetic drama set to music, flourishing in the Yuan and Jin Dynasties and fully developed into an opera during the period of the reign of Emperor Qianlong (1736-1795) of the Qing Dynasty. It has a history of more than 250 years. During past two centuries, it has become popular among areas outside the Yanmen Pass of the Great Wall, such as Suozhou, Datong and some regions in the Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region.
陽高二人臺
陽高二人臺二百多年來借鑒吸收了民歌和其它劇種的長處,形成了自己獨特的風格,既有山西的特色,又具有內蒙的情韻。2007年陽高縣被中國民間文藝家協會命名為“中國二人臺藝術之鄉”。
Yanggao Song and Dance Duet
Yanggao Song and Dance Duet has developed its own character by incorporating the advantages of folk song and other operas in the past two hundred years. It has both Shanxi and Inner Mongolian elements. In 2007, Yanggao County was named 'Song and Dance Duet Hometown of China' by China Folk Literature and Art Association.
靈丘羅羅腔
靈丘羅羅腔是一個比較古老的地方劇種,系由古戈陽腔演變而來,羅羅腔于清中葉乾嘉時期發展成為一個非常成熟的劇種。羅羅腔原是一人前臺演唱,眾人后臺幫合,和以羅羅喲喲之聲,所以叫“羅羅腔”。
Lingqiu Rolls-cavity
Lingqiu Rolls-cavity is an ancient local opera, originally developed from the ancient Geyang Melody. Rolls-cavity was developed into an independent opera in the middle period of the Qing Dynasty when Emperor Jiajing reigned. The original form of Rolls-cavity features only one actor performing on the stage; the rest of the actors performing behind the stage with a vocal accompaniment of lo-lo-yo-yo , thus gaining its name Rolls-cavity.
大同數來寶
大同數來寶是柴氏族兄弟在“大同串話兒”的基礎上,借鑒相聲、數來寶和小品等手法創新的一種現代說表曲藝形式。大同數來寶采用大同方言說唱,以對口為主,常常是一人打板兒一人自由表演。
Datong Rhythmic Story-telling to Clapper Accompaniment
Datong rhythmic story-telling to clapper accompaniment was created by the Family Chai's two brothers in Datong by incorporating comic dialogue, rhythmic story-telling to clapper accompaniment and witty skits in modern story-telling folk art forms. It is performed in the Datong local dialect with two performers speaking or singing in turn.
